One of the privileges I have with being a photographer is watching families grow. I had the honor of photographing Shelly and Brad's wedding just a few years ago here in Fort Worth. Beautiful wedding, great couple, awesome people; and come to find out-expecting! I was very excited when they first told me they were pregnant and immediately I called dibs. So, here are the results of my "dibs". Shelly loves the vintage damask and textile patterns and incorporates it into a lot of her home decor. It's part of her style, and so I made sure I incorporated it into the pictures of her growing family. These turned out very cool, I hope you love them.

Introducing: Brennen! <= and I may have spelled all wrong so all apologies Mom! I photographed little Brennen and family in Dallas a while back. We took this photograph with an actual Polaroid when he was cooking, then did his newborn pics and combined the two to make this art piece! I muted the colors a bit so that Brennen would really pop, he being the star of the show. Congrats to Shelli and Ronnie, and good luck in the days ahead!

Expectant parents Shelli and Ronnie asked me to photograph them this past weekend. We met at Trinity Park and strolled next to the duck pond for some awesome sun drenched photographs.

Hooray for Christine and Blake! Here they stand at the threshold of parenthood, not fully realizing the journey ahead, and yet-like all peoples-they're steadfast and strong, diligent to bring into this world a new life, a new love, a new person, which has never been seen nor heard before. A baby boy. Congrats to them (was this a little over the top? Oh-well, on to the photos!).
