farm antiques

On the farm tractors are essential, and when you got a good one you use it 'til its dead. This one is still alive and kickin', though (with most farm equipment) probably needs a little help to get going. The scan of the print is pretty lo-fi, which I don't like, because the vague detail in the shadows of this photo is what gives it its true quality; but hopefully you get the idea.

I always get pics of the boys when I visit home in Louisiana. I don't know what inspires me: the surroundings, the atmosphere, the coffee, the country, what...? But I always get pics of 'em. So, here are the latest. Man, they're getting big!!

dragon lantern

A recent, quick trip to Louisiana always, always, always presents opportunities for photographs; like my mother's home, which is filled to the brim with trinkets, county home decor, odds and ends, antiquities, toys, trussles, tricks, tom-foolery and the like. So, in the next few posts, expect to see a few.
