christina :: bridal portraits

I had to keep these portraits under wraps until after the wedding day.  Y'know, I didn't want to spoil the surprise for Dad or her Fiance; but now since the vows were exchanged as well as rings, the dancing done, the party thrown I finally get to share these with you.

So, Amber and I met down in south Louisiana at the White Oak Plantation to take a couple of snapshots of her in this ol' dress she found at a thrift store. What do you think?


Okay, seriously, bridal portraits never looked so good. It was cold and windy that morning...hmmm-much like the engagements I took the day before, but she never let it show. What I posted here are not even all of my favorites because if I posted all of my favorites, her entire session would be here.

Erika and Daniel got married the weekend before Thanksgiving. I'll have some highlights from the wedding up soon, but here's her dress. I like the three of these together because the difference of color temperature between each shot. They look like old photographs of different wedding dresses that were thrown together, but worn by different women at a different time.
